Susan brings an eclectic approach to the counseling process, and offers an abundance of knowledge, wisdom and experience. Susan is EMDR certified and ART trained, a trained Gestalt therapist, lead clinician for WCPR under FRSN in Indiana, and has been working alongside law enforcement agencies throughout Hamilton County for 25 years. Susan is also gifted in crisis response, training and education, and supervision.
Susan has lived in the Noblesville area for decades and has fully embraced her community, particularly those who work in public service. Susan has been working as a trauma clinician for 40 years. Susan genuinely cares for and loves people, and her passion is to hold space for those healing from trauma so they can live in the present and fully embrace life.

Sarah loves to help people achieve their goals, reach their full potential, and recognize their strengths in the midst of turmoil. She approaches each of her clients with genuine curiosity and a desire to understand and meet each person where they are. Sarah believes that each person is unique, and utilizes a client-centered approach tailored to helping each individual meet their goals.
Sarah graduated with a Masters of Science in Counseling from Cairn University in 2011, and has been working as a therapist for over 12 years. She specializes in working with adults who have experienced trauma and are struggling with PTSD, anxiety, depression, fertility struggles, and relational concerns. Sarah is trained in EMDR, a clinician for WCPR under FRSN in Indiana, and has a long history working with children, adolescents and their families, specializing in child-centered play therapy,
Sarah is passionate about reaching those is public safety. Sarah is the wife of a police officer and has had the unique opportunity of seeing the life of a first responder first-hand. Sarah has a deep empathy for the struggles that face those in the the line of duty.

Ally is a licensed Social Worker who earned master’s degree in social work in 2024. She is completing her clinical licensure with a focus on Trauma Social Work and Counseling.
She began working with first responders in 2017, when the Department of Child Services employed her. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and is certified in Equine Assisted Therapy. She is also a clinician for WCPR under FRSN in Indiana and is also trained in Neurofeedback.
She has clinical experience working with individuals and groups in crisis intervention and stress management, as well as clinical therapy. She has developed a profound understanding of first responder culture, as well as the impact this profession has on the mental health of first responders and their loved ones.

It is rooted in Polyvagal Theory and can help individuals reconnect with their bodies and cues of safety, practice calm connection through nonverbal communication, and learn to shift from fight/flight (sympathetic) into safety and connection (ventral vagal).
First responders spend their careers in survival mode—Always ready, Always alert. Over time, that constant “On” state dysregulates the nervous system, making it hard to truly rest, connect, or feel safe. Horses respond to the state of an individual’s nervous system, offering immediate, authentic feedback that helps an individual practice regulation in real time.

Emily Azcona is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Trauma-Informed Care Health Science. Emily has earned a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice— Rehabilitative Services from the Indiana Institute of Technology and completed a masters degree in Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University. She is also completing a doctoral program in First Responder Psychology from The Wright Institute. Emily has experience working in the criminal justice system, holding roles that include caseworker in the Department of Corrections, probation, officer, and legal assistant in a prosecutors office, before transitioning into her current role as a licensed therapist. Emily has been working as a therapist with the Department of Child Services before joining Frontline Counseling. These experience have deepen her understanding of navigating the complexities of trauma, grief, family, stress, and the vital importance of compassionate, skilled support to give a voice to what often goes unspoken.
Emily grew up in a law-enforcement family and is a law enforcement/military spouse. She understands firsthand the toll this line of work can take on any individual and the people they love. Emily and her husband have one son and are expecting their second son in December 2025. Emily enjoys spending time with her family, coaching volleyball, and being outdoors.
